In the world of couponing the idea is to stock up on items when they are at their lowest price. I am still learning what a good price is for everything especially laundry detergent, softner and toilet paper. I found this rock bottom price list on one of my favorite blogs today and thought that I would share. I love livingwellspendingless.com. Check out the link below to get the price list, then check out the rest of the site.

Chicken Burgers with Rosesmary-garlic mayo
Giada De Laurentiis
Mayonnaise:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh rosemary leaves
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Burgers:
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 4 sandwich rolls or burger buns
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup arugula, divided
Directions
For the mayonnaise: In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, garlic, and rosemary; set aside.
For the burgers: Preheat a gas or charcoal grill or place a grill pan over medium-high heat. In a large bowl, add the ground chicken, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2 of the mayonnaise mixture. Using clean hands, gently combine the ingredients and form the chicken mixture into 4 patties. Place the burgers on the grill and cook for about 7 minutes on each side. Transfer to paper towels and let rest for a few minutes.
Brush the cut side of each roll with the olive oil and 1 teaspoon of the mayonnaise mixture. Grill for 1 to 2 minutes until slightly golden.
To assemble the burgers: Spread a dollop of the remaining mayonnaise mixture on the tops and bottoms of the toasted buns. Place the chicken burgers on the bottom halves of the buns. Top each with 1/4 cup of arugula and finish with the top half of the bun.
I LOVE these burgers. They are super yummy!

STOCK PILE
So I have only been doing this for about a month and I already have a stock pile! YAY ME! Here are a few pics. I am so proud of my progess I wanted to share! And I should probably mention that I didn't pay over $1.00 for any of it! :) some things I even go for free!
What do I love just as much as couponing?? ORGANIZING! yea, I'm a rebel. Anyway, I have all this new stuff to organize so I bought bins at Walmart 2 for $6.00 and organized the master bath closet....it makes me so happy when everything is put neatly in it's place.
My new found love
Okay...I am offically in love with couponing.
I'm exhausted. I don't know how these ladies do it with posting on their blog everyday, finding new deals, and doing their everyday things at home. I haven't posted here in awhile and I wish I had the time to do it more often. I don't know who really reads this thing anyway but I like posting. Even though I am exhausted I have found a new love of couponing. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the savings! It's my new hobby and I can't stop thinking about coupons and how I can save the most money.
My reason to coupon is to save money. My friend and I were talking the other day about living pay check to pay check....actually....not even that. The check is already gone before it hits the bank account and then you're left wondering how in the heck am I going to put gas in the car or feed my kids. I hate that feeling. My husband works two jobs and I babysit and we still seem to struggle. Granted we own a house which is a huge chunk of money that comes out of that paycheck...along with a nice chunk of change for the Tahoe I drive (debating on whether or not to sell it). But we need a house...and we need a vehicle and we surely didn't anticipate the cost of everything going up so high when we bought the truck. Anyway, My new addiction saved us $150.00 this week! AMAZING! I grocery shop every 2 weeks when the hubs gets paid. My usual shopping trip is about $350.00+ for the 2 weeks. This week I only spent about $210.00. I am so excited and I hope that I can keep that kind of savings up!
I LOVE the idea of stock piling also. It's pure genious! I have only been "super couponing" for about 1 month and I already have a stock pile going! I love the thought of never having to pay full price for things! If I can get body wash at it's lowest price then why wouldn't I stock up on it? Body wash is exspensive!

5/2 shopping trip to Walgreens and Walmart
So, I spent all morning yesterday clipping coupons, organizing and then printing lists for my shopping trip. I really didn't "need" anything but I looked for things that I would save 50% or more on so that I could only shop for my stock pile. I got up this morning and after dropping my oldest son off at school, I headed off to the store. My first stop was a Walgreens because they have some great deals this week with coupons. I get there and everything is gone! :( Talk about total bummer! These coupon people are no joke! I was so upset because I spent all this time on Sunday only to get to the store and everything is gone. So I decided that I am kicking it up a few notches! I am in total competition mode now! I only bought toothbrushes at Walgreens but I got a great deal. Colgate wave toothbrush $2.49, buy one get on free, coupon for .75$ off one. So I bought 4 toothbrushes and used 4 coupons (you can use one coupon for the item you are buying and one coupon for the item you are getting free) I bought $9.96 worth of toothbrushes and I ended up paying .49$ a toothbrush! :)
Then I went to Walmart and bought:
Ivory bar 3 count: price .97$ coupon for $1.00 off. Final price: FREE!
Colgate toothpast: price $1.74 coupon for .75$ off final price: .99$
Oral B cavity Defense Toothbrushes: price $1.50 coupon for $1.50 off 2 Final price .75$ a piece
Zest Soap bar 3 count: Price $1.98 coupon for $1.00 off Final price .98$
I bought $41.60 worth of stuff today and paid $14.36. I am more excited that I didn't spend over a dollar for any of these items!!
It's kind of hard to believe without coupons all this is $41.00. Your probably thinking, well why does she need so much soap or toothbrushes? Well, you always need soap. I have never tried the ivory before but I figured if I don't like it my kids can use it, they don't care what soap they use and neither do I as long as they are clean. and also, don't forget the fact that it was FREE!! YAY!
Toothbrushes...well, you always need a new toothbrush but I mainly got them because my husband gets called out sometimes for his job for natural disasters and things. I figured if we stock up on things he needs when he leaves he can always keep a bag packed and we won't have to go out at the last minute to buy these things.
So even though some things were picked over I still got some really great deals. So today was a really good day!
